Hi Robin, give the ssh -t switch a try -t Force pseudo-tty allocation. This can be used to execute arbi‐ trary screen-based programs on a remote machine, which can be very useful, e.g. when implementing menu services. Multiple -t options force tty allocation, even if ssh has no local tty. > [Tue Aug 2 12:05:31 2011] conserver (6739): ERROR: [nt6340-tvp540-a.uk] > failed to allocate pseudo-tty: Permission denied: forcing down > > Has anybody seen this before ?
