Yes, this is pretty soon after 8.1.6, but there are changes to the '@group' syntax that really need to get out to everyone, and I figured that not everyone jumps on upgrades immediately, so hopefully when you do upgrade, you'll have 8.1.7. For those already at 8.1.6, there's not much different besides '@group' handling, so pace it appropriately. Enjoy! version 8.1.7 (May 28, 2004): - cleaned up the manpages a bit to make things clearer and more standard - reported by Dave Stuit <djs@tellme.com> - added an east coast mirror! http://conserver.syr.edu/ - thanks to Christopher T. Beers <ctbeers@syr.edu> - primary group of users not included in '@group' syntax - reported by Phil Dibowitz <phil@usc.edu> - changed '@group' behavior such that groups are checked when needed, instead of cached at startup, which is more logical - missing variables when building convert with tcp_wrappers - reported by Nikolaos Papavassiliou <Nikolaos.Papavassiliou@reuters.com> - added --with-rpath option - suggested by Phil Dibowitz <phil@usc.edu> Bryan Stansell
